Founded in 2004 as a security consulting company, HexView has been helping companies improve their security postures. We offer a variety of services, from very typical (pentests, architectural reviews, risk assessments) to rather unique (device assessments, hardware/firmware security reviews, and reverse engineering).

Our Difference

The security consulting market is very profitable and quite overcrowded. It is driven primarily by mandates and regulations that require companies to maintain and periodically validate security controls. There is no shortage of consulting companies that will conduct your annual pentest or assess your web applications. HexView's business model is different: we will not spend weeks scanning your environment and we will not abuse your web applications with automated tools for days. We only engage in short-term projects than require exceptional skills and experience. In fact, many of our projects are those rejected by other companies because of complexity.

Our Customers

Our typical customers are medium-sized budget-constrained businesses looking for ways to quickly and inexpensively improve security in a short period of time, usually in preparation for a pentest or an audit. We cater to companies seeking security expertize to be applied to a single project, usually a software product or hardware device. Our clients also include technology vendors and other customers interested in black box hardware reviews, appliance assessments, and targeted reverse engineering (firmware or application logic recovery).
